Basic Reinforcing

I will be making an internal "roll bar". You can use
a metal coat hanger, aluminum or brass rod from your hobby store. I will be
using a metal coat hanger because they are inexpensive or free and they work
great. You will also need a length of wire which is easier to bend, to use as a
template.
Here I've made the template using the flexible wire.
Cut and form your metal rod to match your template.
Make your final bends and cut to length.
Glue in to place and your done.
Next I'll add some wooden craft sticks which can be
used to reinforce where you might make your body mounting holes.
They simply glue in to place.
Here we've made an internal roll bar and added
reinforcement for body mounting holes.
